Eryn is an ambitious intellectual that lives in Innovation City--an industrialized, technologically advanced region that prioritizes research, scholarship, and intellect. She prides in the way the city teems with creativity and progress, which she believes many other civilizations lack.

Glenn is an adventurous, compassionate citizen of the Glacial Community, a community that resides in frigid snow-covered mountains. She looks forward to venturing beyond the icy mountains and visiting the warmer Innovation City, only to be horrified at what she witnesses once she gets there.

As tension brews between the two communities amid various misunderstandings, the stories of Glenn and Eryn demonstrate the importance of mutual understanding and the consequences of prejudice and stereotyping.
